After several weeks of work, I have finished this large abstract painting, For Our Sons and Daughters, 36x60", Acrylic and Oil Pastel.
I began this on my oldest son's birthday in response to a friend's tragic event. Despite that event, my friend's family aspires to have hope and encourage others to do random acts of kindness. This hope is relayed in this painting. Furthermore, it also relays the need for us to be more thoughtful and gentle on so many levels. I can talk about this more in detail later. But in the meantime . . .
